The backwards movie, a crazy treat for the right brained

11:11 tells Anna and Otto's Hollywood tale of lala lust backwards, literally. The filmmakers shot through Panavision effects cameras using reversing mags. Think Memento meets that sketchy Dwarf dream sequence from Twin Peaks but set it in a sexy and comic alternate universe. As an unusual Easter egg, watch the loop version where you see 11:11 completely forwards.

About me.

Motion Picture Writer/Director and Editor
I'm an optimist despite the human condition, an artist, a political activist and a goofball. I wish to leave a better world for the children in my life. I love my friends and family fiercely. I love my dogs enormously. I'm Greek on my mom's side (Spartan) and Spanish/Greek Jewish on my father's side (Sephardic from Thessaloniki). My first language was Greek. I have some French, and a cache of Hebrew buried in my skull from 13 years spent in a progressive Yeshiva in the the Brookline Hills. I grew up in Allston/Brighton, however. I went to a girl's Ivy League school back East where I partied with the privileged and decided not to become a yuppie. I moved to East Cambridge and hung out with the disenfranchised and worked in educational TV and with technology firms. Finally, I ended up in LA and work at a film studio. It's rather unglamorous, even though one runs into the likes of Vince Vaughn, Owen Wilson or the Desperate Housewives. But luckily, I love film and everything to do with it, so I don't mind being stuck in a windowless cutting room day after day.
